About My Place

I don't like small towns, or villages, but I don't like very big cities too, so, basically, my town is perfect for me. I live in a medium-sized city in northern Serbia. The name of my hometown is Novi Sad, and the size of it is about the size of Bronx. My city has a lot of different nicknames and elder names like ''Serbian Athens'', ''Ujvidek'' or ''Neoplanta''... Novi Sad is the second largest city in Serbia, after the Serbian capital, Belgrade.

My city has a lot of famous landmarks, and the most famous one is The Petrovaradin Fortress and The Clock Tower on it. On the fortress is every year held a Exit Festival, one of the most famous music festivals in the world. Every year, Exit is visited by a lot of famous people, like Prodigy and Billy Idol, and this year, the Guns 'N' Roses will come, and I will probably go to see them perform.

Petrovaradin Fortress was built in 17th and 18th century. Foundation stone was laid by Charles Eugene de Croy, a Belgian duke. Now, the fortress is open for visitors and tourists, and the entrance is free. Novi Sad hasn't got much building that are taller than 200ft (60m), but I don't care because smaller buildings are better.

Novi Sad has several parts. Liman 1, 2, 3 and 4, Grbavica, Novo Naselje, Telep are just some of the much parts. Novi Sad has a public beach, Strand, where visitors can bathe in Dunav, the second-largest river in Europe, play volleyball in the sand, or do whatever they want to do, for a little amount of money.
My personal opinion is that Novi Sad is better than most of the big cities, because is isn't too small, but it isn't too big neither. It has admissible number of landmarks, but it isn't overcrowded with them, and last, but not least, it isn't too modern, like Dubai, but it isn't too old-fashioned.

All About Me

Hi.
I don't know much about this blogging thing, so I really hope that I'm writing this at the spot that is provided for it.
Anyway...
I'm Sinisa, I live in Serbia. It's a small country in Southern Europe, in Balkan Peninsula. I have a younger sister and I live with my parents and my grandmother. Most of my evaluations are A's.
I don't like to study; My personal opinion is that studying is a waste of time. I hate going in school, especially on Monday mornings. My favourite time of the year is summer time, and my ideal destination for spending summer vacation is Turkey, Greece or Egypt. Or Dubai, but I've never been there, so... My favourite school subjects are Biology and Chemistry.  I don't like Music. I mean... I like listening to music, but I don't like music as a school subject! I like English, German and Serbian too, but I don't like learning grammar, because, if I know to communicate with other people, learning grammar is unnecessary. I hate Serbian home music, and I prefer listening to American or British music. I like horror films, like Orphan, or Saw, and I like comedy films too. I don't like drama films. I only like one drama film, The Titanic. I like spending my free time outside with friends, in KFC, or McDonald's, or inside playing computer games, watching movies and TV series, or being on Facebook. My favourite TV show is How I Met Your Mother, and I don't like The Big Bang Theory. I hate people who lie all the time, and I avoid being friends with that kind of people (If they even can be called 'people').
I'm taking off now, I have to go to lunch. Bye ;*!
